Brent Bullard
Lead Pastor
Brent came to GBC in 2018 after having served for 14 years on the pastoral staff of his church in Missouri. He holds a Bachelor's in Speech Communication from the University of Central Missouri, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Theology, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Sarah, since 2007, and together, they have three sons, Uriah, Matthias, and Boaz. He enjoys coffee, just about any sport, and being with and pursuing people.
Josh Coe
Pastor of Worship and Discipleship
Josh was a music student at SFA when he began attending GBC in 2013. He served as an intern in Kids Ministry before moving to Houston for graduate studies, where he met his wife, Jacquelynn. Josh moved back to Nacogdoches to teach music at SFA before choosing to pursue pastoral ministry at the end of 2021. He is currently pursuing an MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary.
Jon Hayes
Pastor of College
Jon graduated from SFA in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon and his wife, Abbey, have two kids, Atticus and Elliot. He loves coffee, campfires, disk golf and connecting with parents to help them in their discipleship journey.
Cynthia Knowles
Director of Connection
Cynthia serves as the Director of Connection at GBC. The Knowles family have been members of GBC since 2000. Cynthia joined the staff in 2016. Cynthia and Drew have two adult children; Drew (married to Amber) and Hannah. They also have four wonderful grandchildren.
Jamie Goodwin
Welcome Team Director
Jamie is an Alabama native and graduated from Troy University in 2013. She and her husband , Michael, are passionate about evangelism and work on the college campus with Campus Outreach. They are expecting our first child this fall. Jamie loves arranging flowers, baking cookies, and going on walks.
Bobby Austin
Pastor of Students and Families
Bobby and his wife, Mary, are the parents of Emma, Lucy, and Reed. Bobby graduated from Baylor University and worked for Pine Cove Camps and taught at Nacogdoches High School before joining the GBC staff in 2012.
Pedro Flores
Pastor of Kids
Pedro graduated from SFA in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pedro is married to Liz, also a graduate of SFA, and they have one daughter, Isla. Pedro enjoys reading, birdwatching, running, and visiting coffee shops with his wife.
Katy Mitchell
Little Kids Director
Katy attended Grace as a college student and met her husband, Jonathan, at Crosspoint. The Mitchell family have been members of GBC since 2015. They have three kids - Luke, Parker, and Reese.
Brad Carr
Pastor of Groups and Missions
Brad has served in ministry for over 14 years in 5 different states alongside his wife Tiffany. They have three boys Hudson, Noah, and Cooper. Brad loves being with people, hunting, and rooting for the Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks. He has a heart for the nations and helping people to discover and deploy their gifts.
Kim Wier
Women's Director
Kim and her husband Tony have been part of the GBC family for 35 years, coming as an engaged couple and then raising their family at Grace. In that time, Kim has served in children’s and youth ministry, in AWANA and as our Women’s Ministry Director. An SFA grad, Kim is also a writer and speaker who is committed to helping other women at Grace develop their gifting and serve the body of Christ.
Sylvia Baker
Office Manager
Sylvia serves as our Office Manager. She is a proud Aggie and often the initial touchpoint for our office. Sylvia and her husband, Jerry (another Aggie), have been married for 20 years and are the proud parents of Mason and Cate.
