As Director of Discipleship, Travis oversees GBC Small Groups and The Way, our four-part discipleship classes.

The Cox family came to GBC in 2025 and Travis joined the staff team in 2026.

He earned a Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin in 2015, his Masters of Theological Studies from Midwestern Seminary in 2019, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

He loves creating intentional space for people to grow spiritually and relationally as they are formed into faithful disciples of Jesus.

Travis is married to Felicia and they have two daughters.

He enjoys specialty coffee and playing guitar.
