As Interim Worship Director, Mason leads the congregation of GBC in worship to God using songs that use Biblical truths.

Mason came to GBC in 2014 and he joined the staff team in 2026.

He earned his Bachelors in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. He plans to pursue a Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Seminary in the spring.

Mason’s heart for worship ministry is that believers will worship not only in the sanctuary but throughout every part of their life and growing musicians to use the gifts that God has given them.

Mason is married to Hannah.

He enjoys listening and playing music on a variety of instruments and reading
