As GBC Bookkeeper, Sylvia handles day-to-day financial operations of the congregation and oversees tithes and financial gifts.

The Baker family joined GBC in 2014 and Sylvia joined the staff team in 2022.

Sylvia earned her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M in 1998.

Sylvia is married to Jerry and they have two children.

She enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with family.
