As a family of God’s people, the church is where the older generation comes alongside the younger to show hospitality and encourage in the faith. Adopt a Jack provides a connection between the adults and families of Grace Bible Church and SFA students. At least three times a semester, six times a year, the adult/family treats the student(s) to a meal and engages in intentional conversation. Representing God’s love to a broken world begins in the relationships we have within the church! To "adopt" a Jack, e-mail Roman.
Join us the evening of Friday January 22nd (6-8:30pm) and the morning of Saturday the 23rd (9am-12pm) for a weekend crash course in the overarching story of the Bible. You'll walk away seeing how the Bible is one coherent story narrating how God has been at work to reconcile a sin-broken creation to Himself through Jesus the King in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Don't forget to sign up here and pay your $10 fee here. Contact Roman with questions!
Baptism is one of the most profound and meaningful steps that a person takes in their relationship with God. The church throughout history, however, has had several different teachings about what baptism is and who should take part in it. This has led to a degree of confusion and even frustration for many regarding this beautiful and meaningful sacrament. We believe this step is so important that we want to take time to reflect on what baptism is and why Jesus commanded his followers to do it.
We have several avenues through which people can pursue baptism at Grace Bible Church. You can attend a baptism class, which are offered every other month, meet with an elder, or meet with a member of our staff. To pursue baptism by meeting an elder, you can e-mail our elders here. To pursue baptism by meeting with a member of our staff, you can e-mail our staff here. To attend our class on 1/24 at 10:45am, sign up here.
Nursery-5th will resume their night programs on January 24th (for those whose parents attend Sunday night small groups) and January 27th (for those whose parents attend Wednesday night small groups). Children whose parents do not attend a small group are welcome to join us on a first come, first serve basis due to classroom size restrictions. E-mail Jon Hayes or Jenny Jones with questions!

GBC Women’s Bible Study - Unfinished Business: A study of Acts, Part II begins in February. In person groups will begin February 2/3, with Tuesday pm or Wed am options. (Childcare is available.) There will also be a virtual group available to meet Tuesday pm.
When Jesus departed from earth, He left unfinished business. The book of Acts is the story of the Holy Spirit, working through Jesus’ friends, to continue the work He began. As the story unfolds, the church is born, the gospel spreads and still, we discover there is still unfinished business. In every age, the Holy Spirit invites Jesus’ friends to join Him in the kingdom work of spreading the Gospel. Through a close study of Acts, we discover how to partner with the Holy Spirit, how to share the true gospel, overcome obstacles, abide in joy – in short, how to join in the great unfinished business Jesus left for us to do.
Cost: $15 for both new participants and those who came in the Fall Sign uphere or e-mail Kim for more information!
