As a family of God’s people, the church is where the older generation comes alongside the younger to show hospitality and encourage in the faith. Adopt a Jack provides a connection between the adults and families of Grace Bible Church and SFA students. At least three times a semester, six times a year, the adult/family treats the student(s) to a meal and engages in intentional conversation. Representing God’s love to a broken world begins in the relationships we have within the church! To "adopt" a Jack, e-mail Roman.Click for event page

Baptism is one of the most profound and meaningful steps that a person takes in their relationship with God. The church throughout history, however, has had several different teachings about what baptism is and who should take part in it. This has led to a degree of confusion and even frustration for many regarding this beautiful and meaningful sacrament. We believe this step is so important that we want to take time to reflect on what baptism is and why Jesus commanded his followers to do it.
We have several avenues through which people can pursue baptism at Grace Bible Church. You can attend a baptism class, which are offered every other month, meet with an elder, or meet with a member of our staff. To pursue baptism by meeting an elder, you can e-mail our elders here. To pursue baptism by meeting with a member of our staff, you can e-mail our staff here. To attend our class on 5/16 at 9am, sign up here.Click for event page

After a year of interrupted learning, GBC wants to help kids at Raguet Elementary make up for time lost in reading and conversation with adults. We are calling this new venture “Covid Catch-up Reading Connections” and we need your help to make it a success! After volunteering, you will receive training to read with a struggling student and then will be paired with the family of a kindergarten through second grade student to help that student practice reading. You have the option of either meeting with your student at GBC Wednesdays at 4pm or working out an alternate schedule with the families. Tutoring starts the first week of June and will last through the summer. In addition to volunteering, age-approximate book donations are appreciated! Contact Jon with your book donations/questions. To sign up as a volunteer for “CCRC” please sign up here.
*Please note: all volunteers will receive a background check.Click for event page
