DOES YOUR LIFE FEEL LIKE A FIXER UPPER?
WHAT IS BROKEN THAT NEEDS REBUILIING?
Join us as we learn from Ezra and Nehemiah that God is faithful, able, and willing to take on the FIXER UPPER of our lives.
Broken. Ruined. Discouraged. That describes the people of Israel in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. They were a nation of fixer-uppers. They had been through a long season of ruin but were about to discover that God had not forsaken them. In fact, He had been working all along and was about to lead them to a season of rebuilding and restoration – if they would obey Him.
We, too, live in broken places. We know what it is to suffer loss, to be guilty before God, to feel discouraged, fearful or hopeless. We have broken down relationships, finances, reputations, dreams, bodies or even broken-down faith. But God is inviting us to look closer and see that He has not forsaken us. He has been working all along and wants to lead us to restoration, too. Will you follow Him?
HIGHLIGHTS: God’s plan is not stopped by our messes. God is working even when we can’t see it. God uses unlikely circumstances to accomplish His will for His people. Our repentance is as crucial as our actions. Nothing could hinder God from brining His Savior to a broken world. There is nothing broken that God cannot restore. Rebuilding begins with knowing God’s blueprint. God’s faithfulness to us demands our faithfulness in response. The cure for fear and discouragement is trust in Almighty God. And so much more.
