REFUGE is the student ministry at Grace Bible Church. We serve Junior High and High School students (6th-12th grade). We are a ministry built on small groups. Twice a month we meet in the sanctuary for a time of fellowship, games, worship, and a message. The other two Wednesdays of the month we meet in houses for a time of fellowship and small groups. REFUGE is every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 and dinner is always served.
Refuge Core Values
CREATED FOR WORSHIP
REFUGE is the name of our 6th-12th Wednesday night student worship service. It is a high energy weekly gathering that offers students free food, engaging worship and relevant teaching in order to connect them with Christ in a real way.
CALLED INTO COMMUNITY
A key part of the REFUGE worship service is the GROUP time. Junior High and High School students are split into GROUPS led by adults and college students. The GROUP time gives students the opportunity to connect with other believers so that they can share life together.
COMMISSIONED FOR DISCIPLESHIP
Students that come to REFUGE and get involved in a GROUP will also have an opportunity to take part in DISCIPLESHIP. The GROUP leaders will be there to teach, encourage, challenge and pray for students at REFUGE and throughout the week in order to see them grow as DISCIPLES of Jesus.
