Why are you afraid? Those were Jesus’s words to his friends, caught in a storm, but in the boat with Him. Fear often covers the eyes of faith and makes you forgot who is in the storm with you. Do you fear? Imagine your life, wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity, or doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, where you could trust more and fear less.

Bring your K-5th children for a morning of Bible study, crafts, and fun, and then join us at 12:30pm for family lunch! This will be a free event, and we hope you'll bring your neighbor. Be sure to register above so that we know to expect you and can accommodate your child in the best way.
Mission Nac is a multi-church outreach ministry that seeks to help the needy in our community. As the body of Christ in Nacogdoches, we have scraped and painted, roofed, built porches and carports, replaced windows and trim, delivered furniture, mowed, gardened and landscaped for those who simply needed a hand up. Last year alone over 450 people representing 15 churches joined together to work for four days in our community. Lives were changed as the love of Christ was spoken and demonstrated – and so were 24 homes! Grace will build a team of workers to participate in the summer project June 12th - June 15th. Sign-ups are open now at missionnac.com/serve, and GBC participants can e-mail Zach Martin with questions.
If you are interested in pursuing baptism, join us in room 200 of the Kids Bldg to hear what Scripture reveals to us about baptism -- what it is, what it isn't, and why we believe it's an act of obedience to Jesus.
If you are interested in joining GBC, join us for a New Member Workshop and Dinner Sunday, July 21st, from 2 - 5:30pm in the Chapel. This is a great way to get to know more about our church and meet our staff and elders. Let us know you're coming by registering. Childcare is available with registration.
We will return to two identical worship services at 9:15am and 10:45am at the start of the new school year on August 25th. If you have a question about how this will look for your family, please reach out to a staff member or call the GBC office!
