SECURITY. PURPOSE. BELONGING. Security is not found in safety alone. Purpose happens when we take action. Belonging is what we were created to enjoy. But the hostile and broken places that surround us foster fear, hopelessness and rejection. For those who are struggling to inhabit all the good places He is preparing, God has a message: "Join me!"
Come along as we glean timeless wisdom from the books of Nehemiah and Malachi that speak to our own desires to live confidently, be part of something bigger than ourselves and know that we belong. They are ancient books with a message for your life today from an eternal God who never changes.
Men, don't retreat; they charge! Build friendship with your GBC brothers, ages 18+, as we hear specific charges on pursuing purity through temptation, persevering through trials, and embracing Biblical masculinity.
TIME Carpools will begin leaving from the sanctuary parking lot at 3:30pm on 2/22 and will return home 2/23 around 8pm.
Join other parents in the commitment to raise your children as the Lord would command. In this time of committing your parenting to the Lord, GBC will also commit to pray for and encourage you and your children as you strive to walk in obedience.
Everyone has a story. And every story is different. But when God is at the heart of your story everything changes! With God, fearful hearts turn fearless, prideful hearts turn humble, and reluctant hearts turn willing and even courageous. Join the Women of Grace on March 29-30th, for our Women’s Retreat, as we explore the way God’s love sets our Hearts on Fire and redeems every story.
Registration includes your accommodations, 2 Saturday meals, ropes course, and on-site activities.
While the official programming of the retreat ends at 5pm Saturday, you may opt for a second night at Camp Cho-Yeh for an additional cost. This will include a meal and informal activities and fellowship.
Scholarships are available! Contact Kim Wier for details. (Scholarships do not apply to students as discounted Student Rate is already applied.)
You can give towards scholarships for others using our PushPay page. Please choose "Women's Retreat Scholarship Donation" in the dropdown.
Seasoned Singles in Service (SSIS) is a group of fellowship, support, prayer, and service for those 40 and older who are widowed, divorced, or who never married. SSIS serves by caring for those in our body who are homebound or hospitalized and by offering help to GBC ministries in various ways. They fellowship with another in acts of service, in outings, and dinners. If you are interested in attending this monthly meeting, e-mail Gloria Bay.
Baptism is one of the most profound and meaningful steps that a person takes in their relationship with God. The church throughout history, however, has had several different teachings about what Baptism is and who should take part in it. This has led to a degree of confusion and even frustration for many regarding this beautiful and meaningful sacrament.
We believe this step is so important that we want to take time to reflect on what baptism is and why Jesus commanded his followers to do it.
We have several avenues through which people can pursue baptism at Grace Bible Church. You can attend a baptism class, which are offered every other month, meet with an elder, or meet with a member of our staff. To pursue baptism by meeting an elder, you can e-mail our elders here. To pursue baptism by meeting with a member of our staff, you can e-mail our staff here.
Take the next step with GBC by attending our New Member Workshop and Lunch. It's a great opportunity to sit down with our staff and elders and better understand our story, philosophy of ministry, beliefs, and commitments. Childcare is available by request, and we will conclude the morning with a lunch together. Please register online or by calling the church office.
