This summer, the Crosspoint community group is going to spend time getting more familiar with the Old Testament. We will meet together, guys and girls, weekly at 6 pm on Sunday nights to read Scripture aloud, discuss, and pray. For more information, text or call Roman at 832-221-4628.
As families, we must prioritize worshiping God as a central rhythm in our homes and we want to equip you with the tools you need to read, pray, sing, and study with your family. Our worship pastor, Stephen Powell, will be leading us in a 3-week seminar on Family Worship at 9:15am in Henderson Hall July 7th, 14th, and 21st.
Childcare will be provided for babies through 5th grade on July 7th and 14th, and your little ones will join you on July 21st as we practice what we learn. Middle/high school students are strongly encouraged to attend all 3 sessions with their families!
This seminar is for those who have children in their home as parents or grandparents and for those who hope to one day have children in their home and want to learn the "why" and the "what" of Family Worship! Please register above so we can best plan for the class.
If you are interested in joining GBC, join us for a New Member Workshop and Dinner Sunday, July 21st, from 2 - 5:30pm in the Chapel. This is a great way to get to know more about our church and meet our staff and elders. Let us know you're coming by registering. Childcare is available with registration.
Baptism is one of the most profound and meaningful steps that a person takes in their relationship with God. The church throughout history, however, has had several different teachings about what baptism is and who should take part in it. This has led to a degree of confusion and even frustration for many regarding this beautiful and meaningful sacrament.
We believe this step is so important that we want to take time to reflect on what baptism is and why Jesus commanded his followers to do it.
We have several avenues through which people can pursue baptism at Grace Bible Church. You can attend a baptism class, which are offered every other month, meet with an elder, or meet with a member of our staff. To pursue baptism by attending our baptism class, join us August 4th at 9:30am in room 200 of the Kids Building.
We will return to two identical worship services at 9:15am and 10:45am at the start of the new school year on August 25th. If you have a question about how this will look for your family, please reach out to a staff member or call the GBC office!
